Vinili reggae
Il reggae nasce in Giamaica intorno alla fine degli anni sessanta, ispirato dallo ska e dal rhythm and blues di New Orleans che i giamaicani ascoltavano dalle radio statunitensi.
La musica reggae sostanzialmente inverte il ruolo del basso elettrico e della chitarra elettrica rispetto alla musica rock, rendendo predominante il basso. Bob Marley è sicuramente il principale esponente di questo genere musicale, egli trasformò il reggae sotto l’aspetto ritmico e musicale e lo diffuse come culto vero e proprio, cambiandone le radici.
